If we'd had the THSCC shirts ordered, I would have worn that =)

I was surprised at this actually. My son Drew mentioned to contact WRAL. They were more than willing to do the interview. Was interesting to watching them setup the camera and do all of the different angles of shooting of the grill, the brush, my neck and the x-ray. Just to let you know, my bills are now past $25k, freaking amazing at how much this cost me. Hoping insurance kicks in soon!

I was told the video will be available on line for those of you just dying to see my mug on camera... 8)

I have not seen the video yet..But I am glad u r ok.We all like you Rodney,if a seat comes up come rally cross.Or put a lift kit on the mazda, and rally cross that.Autocross the ford now,or follow Les and others and rally cross the ford.A guy earlier rallycrossed a boss mustang 302,that was badass. If car and driver can rally cross a land rover you can run a ford.If the ford is stock suspension, just run some mud and snow tires..That is teh setup on my wrx .Stock suspension and mud and snow tires, that are worn from street use.And of course,VEEDUB

I heard about this on my drive home this morning and I thought of you. I didnt realize this was ACTUALLY about you.

And there are much easier ways of getting out of presidency if you really are that done with it... eg, just move out to Washington. it will cost you much less and be more effective.

Rodney, glad to hear you are OK. My wife told me about another instance earlier this year and I have since tossed my grill brush and replaced it with a grill cleaning stone.

Love the HCMC shirt !

Yes, part of the wire is still embedded at the base of my tongue and will remain there until I kick. According to the doc's, scar tissue will form around it and hold it in place. This is stainless steel, so it's not going anywhere... :? Mind you, we're not talking about a big piece of the wire, they said less than 2mm is there. My concern is what the heck happened to exposed part? After the 2nd OR visit, I was hoping they would simply pull the wire out. When they finally had me on the table, they said they could no longer find it and assumed it had broken off. So, I'm hoping they sucked it up, otherwise that free part is still somewhere in me which is very uncool.

If you use a grill brush, throw that F'ing thing away, it's not worth it. Use either a stone or a wadded up piece of aluminum foil to clean the grill off....

Gosh that sounds really really awful. Glad you're okay. I've seen grill scrapers that look like they're basically a scotchbrite pad on the end of a big plastic handle. I wonder if those would be better.

Yes, my wire brush makes yours (as seen on TV) look pretty nice. I threw it away last night. Sounds like a terrible experience. Glad you are OK now.

Does the CAM class allow for inserting bionic stainless steel items into ones tongue? Might have to re-read the rules.

lol.... I think piercings in general are allowed in not only CAM, but all classes.... The question is will I now talk longer and faster? Is the world ready for that?

Rodney, that was a classic piece of TV. Glad you could laugh about the whole thing. Next time, maybe you could mention THSCC as an antidote to the hospital blues 8)

I think there's lot's I'd do over, the "truck" analogy was poor. So much for shooting from the hip. Never claimed to be fast on my feet...
