It does zero to sixty in seven seconds roughly.VW is working on it, according to diesel power magazine.VW is working on like the scr tank location,and USA emissions work.Watch this space for more information,vw wants to bring her here.Like everything pretty much vw sells,it will eventually come here.BMW had teh 535d and all them in euro for a long time,now they are here.Just a matter of time,although I wish audi built the r8 v12 tdi,audi wanted to .But it did not work out.

I would love the GTD to come here. Would be a GREAT daily driver, especially for me with my long commute, but the ability to detour for fun backroads.

He keeps going on and on about how "it's just like a GTI"... that's because it is, moron. It's a GTI with a diesel engine. The whole point of diesel is torque (i.e. for one's towpig) and extreme fuel economy. "36mpg" is an F in that regard. I get 36+ mpg from my 4 year old, 2 ton lexus barely-hybrid. (the HS has the smallest battery imaginable.) My 13yo turbo bug gets 32 without any effort -- ok, it's 7 when used on a track, but no one quotes "track" numbers.

I like the idea, but the actual execution is very underwhelming.

tdi that can hang with anything on the road.And handles like a golf,cool.Banks and aem and them,have been developing parts for the twin cam tdi.
which i think is awesome,so2 could be fun with a tdi that can hang with a golf four banger or what,cool stuff.bmw 335d is cool monster,torque like that.170 hp and more than that in torque in a diesel four banger,i like it .
