Great ad....had to post to FB.
Interestingly, not many healthcare professional types are involved in motorsports, at least not that I have met. Only other doc I know of is Jon Nwanagu who IIRC is OB/GYn in Columbia, SC. Aaron Skolnik is in med school at Duke, wisely using his research years to practice driving. Of course, Mary Johnson is a nurse practitioner. I know one orthopedist who races in PCA, so maybe there are more there and in BMWCCA.
Lots of docs drive cars that are well suited for autocross or track, so I leave a THSCC card on the windshield when I park next to them. There's usually a BRZ, a 370Z and a couple of M3s. Most of the 911 drivers just have the car for show, not surprising. No luck luring them out yet, but I keep at it!
My Cardiologist either raced or open tracked motorcycles when I first "met" him in 2002 (bypass and valve surgery testing, etc. prior to surgery by a heart surgeon). He still does the reviews of the tests my GP practice but I haven't talked to him since 2002.
Edit to add: Bill Gurley, Raleigh Orthodontist, used to race FF's and did Car Guys instructing. Eric Campbell is a Raleigh Orthodontist who my Dentist says does Viper "tract stuff" with a Viper he drives on the street and track.
