Yeah, I figure I'll do a few extra in-between the scheduled ones.

Changing oil on bmw ,shouldnt take computer. We do our z3 and our 528i sedan and it does not take anything special. My wrx is relatively painless, getting front splash guard off is hardest part.Z3 goes easily,528i has been reliable for hte most part.

Now all we need is a wet autocross, awd bmw ftw.I may take the wrx out if it is really truly wet. Rain in summer is not so bad, warm rain.I have some extra tires I could get mounted at Discount tires.Job at fedex sucks, but is a job.anyway, awd huh, Back long ago Feinburg I think, rallycrossed a 325ix e30.
Still think could be fun, or subaru 2.2 sedan, just to mix things up.Anyhow, cool stuff.Tiptronic auto has been pretty good on my mothers bmw.Touch shift on central console,is actually kinda fun.

The secret is not to reset the interval between oil changes. The light will come on at 15K like it is supposed to.

Get in with a SA soon Rodney. If he likes you there is a better chance you'll get new rotors and pads before the warranty runs out.

I really like Leith BMW's service department a lot. I worked with Jason Williams as my service advisor, and Chris Longo turned the wrenches on the car.

Yeah, there are some silly things about how electronic and modern they are. I'll never understand all the whirring and buzzing the various motors do when I'm standing next to the car shortly after locking it. Not having a dipstick is silly. Runflat tires are silly. Etc, etc. But you already knew all that stuff.

Changing the oil is really easy. There's a trap door in the undertray that's actually located correctly for draining the pan.

I found the OEM Bosch wiper blades to be really awful. They hop and skip all over the place. Ended up buying some other brand - Trico maybe? They've been fine.

Oh, and nice find on getting one with fold down rear seats. That's one thing I wish ours had.

I have Autoenginuity and also INPA/DIS/NCSexpert/etc stuff, so if you need to do something like a battery registration, it's free here. ;)

Good to hear about Leith, they're closer to me, so that's probably where I'll go. As for the odd things about the car, yeah, took at that into consideration, but this thing drives nice and is in very good condition. As for the fold down rear seats, that was a major sales point for me as it adds some utility to the car for over sized stuff. I really wanted a wagon, but this color combo and rear seats along w/ the warranty was the kicker.
