Hi folks, your friends in the rallycross program have a burning need to borrow a tractor for a day. Our first rallycross of the season was held on ground that was a little damp from the previous weeks heavy rains. When we tested the track on Saturday it seemed to be just fine, but at one turn in the Sunday morning course there were some slightly rolling humps. The extra suspension forces due to the humps caused us to break through the relatively tough upper crust and cut some pretty deep ruts that developed quickly in the underlying sandy soil . I heard back from the site owner that he is pretty displeased with the condition of the field and that we need to fix it.
At Wilson, the site has a tractor that they loan us to re-groom the site, but the Fayetteville site is unwilling to loan out their equipment.
If there is anyone who has a tractor that they would consider loaning, I could haul it on my car trailer and fix the ruts (I have a lot of experience in Wilson). We would really appreciate any help.
