With regards to instructors driving: There is some time on the schedule for instructors to familiarize themselves with the course. Keep in mind: (1) a bunch of 16-18 year old kids are watching, and they are very impressionable. Don't do anything you would not want to see them do with you in the right seat. (2) any behavior that puts this site at risk for future events is unacceptable.
Behave yourselves, in other words, and try to act like a professional!
To add to Mikes comments, don't bring anything racing related to the event, bring your street / daily drivers. In the morning as an instructor you'll have access to the course. Try to look at it from a students perspective. You'll be giving a lot of directions and feedback during the day. Explain the elements to them and what you expect during the day.
During lunch you'll also have access to the elements. I wouldn't do any major prep to the car, just set the tire pressures to factory and see what you can do on course. Students are going to be in the same situation. TRSS rules state to have students cars set to factory settings since that's what they'll be driving on the street, ie: no over inflated tires.
You can still have some fun on the elements in the DD. If you're on the skid pad and you get into a "push" situation, you can better relate to telling a student to "open up the wheel" and "lift" off of the gas to regain control of the car.
