I occasionally fall into the trap and even occasionally am the accidental instigator, but I am NOT going to get drawn into a gun, political, religious, etc. debate in this thread. We do have the "Lounge" for off topic issues, but while I don't think there is a rule against it, I don't think those topics particularly belong here given there are plenty of other places on the web to debate these topics. And if anyone can point to one that doesn't derail into name calling, etc. within a handful of pages, I will eat my keyboard.
