You selling? I remember the first one of those I ever drove was when I was working at the Phillips 66 on Western Blvd in late 70's. Customer came in and left the car for work. I sorta "borrowed" it to run to the parts store. Wanted one ever since....

probably so. Don't have the time/money to tackle the needs of the non-stock engine, nor can I find someone to rebuild the matching numbers one. It'd be a great deal for someone, though, as a parent/child project. I'd be surprised you could fit in it though, Rodney. When I'm sitting in it my head almost touches the headliner!

Sorry for the thread derail....continue the daydreaming!

Bruce’s wealthier brother and like minded auto nut Ralph has created his own fund for the deserving, but less fortunate. He is less concerned about cost (but he also doesn't want you to try to break the bank). He says to pick just one car (no longer in production) from any manufacture. Also pick what you want and not what others think you should want…

Oldsmobile : 1970 442 W-30

PS: The "manufacture" list could be much larger, but I don't want to spend weeks at this and for some, they just don't have anything I care to have!

Man, you're hit this one pretty close to home. I was going to make a convertible clone of mine even though the never technically existed.

There are entirely too many FWD Honduhs on your and many other's lists. This is the Tarheel Sports Car Club. Seriously, you come into a windfall of cash and you buy 6 Honda Civics, in white no less!? I don't think uncle Bruce would a approve at all, he didn't leave you $250K to buy Civics. This is kinda like saying if you could sleep with any woman in the world you would pick Janeane Garofalo, I mean, she is kinda cute, smart and funny, but hardly the material of fantasy. And yes, I realize many of you youngsters might not even know who Janeane Garofalo is and that was partly my point. :) :P

LIKE LIKE LIKE!!! Really you can afford really neat cars and you get a bunch of Civics......Drinking wayyyyy too much Honduh Kool-Aid

All I can say is I was generally as fast as you in a car that has less peak torque than your car idles at....on street tires [/rant]

Though you did remind me that I do want a 997 Carrera S (9A1 powered)...in white with black wheels.

The 240z is one of the select few cars I have had that I would buy again. It had more "character" in it's knock off SU carbs, their choke lever and sweet singing inline 6 than any other car I have owned...except of course the Miata :D

Per Bruce's bequeath:

Mid 60's lotus elan hard top (convertible looks weird with the top down and window frames on) and a spyder frame would be nice.
67 427 vette
94 ZR-1
c6 Zo-6
2000 sport package Miata
81 928s with LS-1
Spec Miata + plus spares
Late 60's early 70's Vista Cruiser to tow said Spec Miata
