Its just a concept, but to my eye the WRX has taken on design elements of the BRZ.

BRZ for comparison:

i think the evo is boxier. but it doesnt have a boxer engine , or a boxer dog in the back seat. as mine does often, i like it and so do my subaru buds.

Yep...the day that comes out (if it looks close to that concept) I will be trading my '09 hatch in for one.

Isn't the WRX a modified Impreza? So do you think there will "really" be a 4 door sedan in the Impreza's price range with so little rear seat head room? :(

The old Impreza line went something like Base->WRX->WRX STi. The new 2014 WRX seems to be completely separate from the Impreza, and it looks like maybe the Impreza is going away completely:

I don't know about the Impreza going away but I definitely have heard the WRX/STI are going to be separate platforms/chassis going forward.

They won't put fixed caliper Brembo's on the WRX. Otherwise, how would STI owners feel good about their manhood? Aaron Delong might have to get the dial calipers out for them :).

i think you could get a boxer 4 in there, its not a long engine. the overhang in my wrx is not much.

You have to look at the axle centerline.

Or....maybe the new WRX will be a 4-door BRZ-based sedan with RWD. The STI gets its own design as mentioned earlier.
