I just stopped by there since I was in the area and thought I would check to see on the off chance they had a Miata hood. Beware of this place. They told me they had a Miata on the lot but did not know if it had a hood or not. They then charged me $2 for the privilege to go look for it, but after 2 trips out to hunt for it, there was no Miata. The only thing left was the smashed up hood stuffed inside an old ford van with the roof peeled off. Just for kicks, I asked for my $2 back, but got a solid no. I left laughing and shaking my head as I walked out the door. LKQ

Dude, really? It's worth $2 to walk around and look at all the stuff IMHO. ALL of the "Self Service" junkyards charge a small fee to go on the yard, it's all part of their liability coverage. And hardly any of them keep accurate inventory of the cars that are on the yard, much less the specific parts that are still good on each car- it's just not feasible.
They DID have a miata out there last time I was there- but it was totally picked over. They turn cars over pretty frequently, once they've been on the yard for a couple of weeks they crush what's left.
You pays your money and you takes your chances with these places, if you don't like the $2 fee, you can go to a Full Service junkyard and pay full price.
And VK- I've seen quite a few Miatas come thru there over the last couple of years, and even some later model Mustangs. Seems like they've been getting more and more newish stuff lately. The LKQ in Greenville had an '04 F150 there a couple of weeks ago.
