Yeah I know, that's what my wife said.

Over a year ago I was working on my old ML320 and lost my 10mm swivel head gear wrench. I spent over an hour with flashlights, magnets, etc. trying to find it. I never replaced it and it pissed me off. Tonight I was changing the plugs (not as big of a pita as I thought) and when I was doing the last one on the back of the engine (12 plugs, I don't have a 12 cylinder Ferrari but at least I have 12 plugs) what did I discover but my 10mm on stuck on the transmission housing.

As I said, that makes me happy. And so does the Sierra Nevada Torpedo I'm drinking after changing those friggin plugs.

Somehow I have never tried Torpedo. I've had plenty of SN Pale and even a few 12's of their Rye when it was at the store. Got a 12 of Torpedo tonight and it's fantastic! I think I have a new go-to 12'er of nice bitter IPA :)

It's excellent isn't it? It is a close second to Belle's Brewery Hop Slam but that is a very limited seasonal that you can't really find. I also just discovered New Belgiums Red Hoptober and it's pretty good.

Steve, don't even post any thing about the King of Swill.

I like Torpedo quite a bit and it's a great value IPA, but come on, nowhere near the league of Bell's Hop Slam :).

Who's selling Hopslam around here? Sounds like you guys share my taste in beer, gotta try that one too :)

My current "luxury" beer is Bell's Two Hearted. Yummy yummy.

Hopslam is what I call a "Unicorn beer". Impossible to find, kinda like Founders KBS.

As for what I would call "standard" IPAs that are available regularly:

Lagunita's IPA
Bell's Two Hearted
Foothills Hoppyum
Oskar Blue's Dale's Pale Ale (not really a Pale ale but more of an IPA IMO)

Those are my go to beers.

^^This. I drank a lot of Laguinita's in Sonoma on my honeymoon so it's a regular, but yes Bell's Two Hearted is a favorite (it's the beer the got my wife into good beer surprisingly).

All good beers. I've really enjoyed the Green Flash West Coast IPA the last couple of times I've found it on tap too. That and Old Hickory's Death by Hops.

Mike, you have found Triangle Wine Company not to far from you, right?

Second because Hop Slam is unobtanium, there is a place in Ayden where you have to be on the list to be notified when it comes in, he normally gets a couple of kegs too. That's where I get it.

Christies Europub on Jarvis near ECU is a great little place if you are in town. Great food and always a couple of good beers on tap, they change all the time. It is my favorite lunch place.

No. But after seeing that website I am going to go there right now. And there is a good chance I will never come home.
