Did I miss this whole thing and you already didn't buy a Mini? Oh well. The only problem with the 07 turbo is the recall on the auxiliary water pump. It was running hot on track before I got that replaced. Mine has a been a tough little thing. When the lower control arm fell off the hub at AX (my fault - didn't torque it enough), there was no damage to the upper. I still can't get over that. And you can barely even tell that I ran into a tire wall. I have really loved my car.
