I was contacted by a film professor from UNC Pembroke who is friends with Randy Hoffman, the gentleman responsible for our Laurinburg site. He was asking if we had any volunteers to "drive around the track so his students could film them, top gear style". I'm not sure exactly what that means, but if you are interested, let me know and I will give you his phone number to call.

Sounds like Rodney's their man. Of course, put Shawn or Kevin in a high horsepower RWD car, and that's sure to be equally entertaining.

If Randy's 5.4L Mustang was driveable right now, he'd be the man and 'personality' for the job. :D

If anyone needs driving in dirt.. I am your man.. I am not the best, but it is something I love to do! Me and my father can help out alot on dirt, our car may not be gorgeous, but she can certainly turn some dirt up! :sing:

I called the film prof at Pembroke and asked what exactly was going on. Just as Brice described, this is a film class and they want to do a "topgear" style film. I told him I had the bullitt version mustang. He said he had also contacted another person who has a...... you guessed it, an original challenger. THIS should be fun!

He asked if I would consider some burnouts. In a restrained voice I said I'd be happy to try

I have visions of yet another bullitt chase scene coming to a theater near you.

I know Brice said he already has enough volunteers, but whom else here actually has a movie stunt driving resume, well, other than Zach who happened to be my costar. If this is happening later rather than sooner I would love to turn the shitty riken raptors on the vette into smoke. I'm still a few weeks away from being physically capable of doing something like this unfortunately however.
