I am out of town that weekend, so I'll be missing that event.

I'm driving up on Saturday and staying at the Comfort Suites at Roanoke Rapids. What time is setup so I can help? I'm bringing a new driver, and was hoping to give me a little practice in my car before the race.

i dont know a whole lot about the rally x. i am having a hard time gathering intel on that.. also.. the folks at lizard lick towing are having a yard sale on the 26th at their place on that day... 10 am to 4 pm. probably i will not make it, because me and mud pretty much are like peas in a pod. I will be in the wrx again, we are fairly sure we can fix the sentra and have her ready again. I gotta change the oil in the truck too.

I will be there in setup, then drive home adn hopefully sleep, then ride up in the truck towing you know who..then unload and rally the sentra.

Who is chairing the event anyone know..

Sebastian says the Janko crew is chairing. Setup will be the weekend before, so that the NCCAR guys can prep the course with their tractor during the week. Liz and I may be there for the actual rallyx (probably not), but not for setup. Working on home improvements before she moves in. If we don't make it, have fun.

I'm bringing 2 first time drivers to the NCCAR site, arriving Saturday night. If anyone else is going Saturday give me a ping and we can get together for dinner.

Any chance of giving these new guys some practice on Saturday? I want them to enjoy themselves enough to come back.

All this hinges on getting the rear control arm bolt replaced. I went to put on new bushings only to discover the bushing had fused to the bolt. I ordered a new bolt from the dealer but the damn thing is an inch shorter than the original. Any ideas?
