It has potential to be a really good autocross car.

First FR-S thread on the boards! I'd love to buy one of these in the next couple of years as a DD and autocross car if the backseat will actually hold a baby seat safely. I'm really happy to see that these are staying in the $25k pricepoint range, as a lot of folks thought we'd see a last minute jump in price based on the stir it's generated and how we received they will be.

Decent Jalopnik footage (Best Motoring) hot off today's presses:

I never thought I'd want a Scion this badly.

I have a feeling that these are going to make the Geneses look like Caddies. +1 on can't wait to see one in person.

During my lunch walk I saw one 2 weeks ago at Johnson Subaru in Cary. The car was having Georgia plate on it.
She was gone when I drove home that day. It look good and like said, kind of a smaller scale Genesis but better looking.
They have an Orange Lotus Elise if someone is interested...saw that today during my walk, no 500 Abarth yet at the dealer also.

The price for this thing still seems too high for what you get.

I'm sure at the end of that segment right after they cut the cameras off. Randy Pobst said "It's great, but it's no Chumpcar-spec Trans Am."

Given how ga-ga everyone seems to be over this car, I must be the only one in the world who lost interest after they announced it would have struts on the front.
