The best thing about that video is at least that Mustang could leave TWO black marks. I still think the one-wheel-peel in the original movie was lame.

Cool that they included the old VW bug just like in the original. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool, I had to go back and watch the original, it about made me car sick.

VK, it is what it is. That was a one wheel drive car.

I was thinking the same thing. They even went by it twice.

After all that crashing not a dent in the Mustang either.

The VW beetle was a nice touch. They should have had someone in the back seat of the Dodge throwing hubcaps out the window every so often.

I noticed that as well. I need some of those dent-proof body panels for my Mustang!

I noticed in the original they went by a firebird two or three times as well. I really enjoyed looking at all the cars used in the shots. Lots of bug, corvairs, etc.

I think they pass the same cars for a couple of reasons. Clearly they used the same cars for "traffic" and I think there is at least one place where they use different camera angles from a single shot and then edit it together as being different parts of the chase. I think the part in which they pass the bug downhill is an example of that.

I'm pretty sure you weren't supposed to notice the continuity errors in the movie. Of course, we've all watched it so many times they become part of the legend. So I was amused when they recreated them in the TV scene. I think there must be a car nut among the writers for the show.

It still wasn't as good as the original, it was more of a long product placement. And the Dodge didn't blow up half a block when it exploded

New mustang boss vs new dodge charger in san francisco. It would be epic.
