there is apparently a car show on east williams street tomorrow.8 am to 1 pm with rewards at 3. sponsored by autozone 919 280 1138 is the number for the information. this is according to the paper.

this is a car show in apex at east williams street. sponsored by autozone. i am going to be there at 10 am. or i will try to be there at that time in my wrx.

Pete, I stumbled across a cruise-in Saturday evening in west Durham. Being a Ford guy, I got really excited when I saw a 1969 428CJ Torino GT coupe, but then I walked around to the other side of the restaurant and saw the support vehicle of my dreams! A 1964 Ford Country Sedan. (Not one of those gaudy Country Squires that Shultz dreams about.) This one originally had a 390, but now sports a 428 with 3 two-barrel carbs. And the Cragar Eliminator mags are a nice period touch.

Please, please do not suggest retrofitting it with a turbodiesel. :lol:

there was a galaxie 500 at the show i was at. white, 1967 i think. maybe wrong year, i dunno. but it had a 402 or something in it.

Pete, Ford had a 406 V8 in the early sixties, before they brought out the 427. Let's try to narrow down the year of the car you saw. Thanks to planned obsolescence, they're easy to tell apart:
