The lady I spoke w/ was Denice Thibodeau and she worked w/ Danville Register. She seemed genuinely interested in what was going on. I asked her if she wanted to enter her '91 Cadillac, she gracefully declined.

Ha, it's funny you say that. Denice asked, "...so this is a race"? Insurance immediately popped into my brain. I said "...not so much of a race, it's more about car control than speed" Glad she printed that. She also snapped several photos. I asked her to please not print pics of license plates

I think she got a few strange looks from people when she rolled in with her Caddy. I know I was a bit confused, and also somewhat interested to see it take a run through the course.

she had to work friday night and sunday afternoon. and other than the poor taste dash plaque i couldn't justify the cash outlay for a trip to Danville.

How did I not know about that dash plaque? I have got to have one of those for my automotive art collection, it will go right next to my Steve Mcqueen Lemans poster. I'm not joking, who has the left overs, mail me one I'll send you money for postage.

I have the original image that you can use as wallpaper on your desktop, or maybe you can print it on multiple sheet for another use in the men's room. :lol:
