not planning on going to this hyper dealer show. Very unimpressed over the last few years w/ how this show was setup. No euro cars and no concepts. Weak...

If it's free, it might be fun to see the difference between this one and the one in Detroit.

If it's not free, then no.

Yes, it is basically a big dealer lot.

VW, Audi, Porsche were not in attendance again. Ford has the doors locked on the Boss 302. They don't have an Abarth to test drive, but they do have a 500 and a 500C. They also didn't have a Challenger to test drive.

There are some Euro cars there. MINI, Fiat, Volvo, Spyker, and thanks to Foreign Cars Italia, Ferrari, Mazerati, Aston Martin and Porsche.

They do have the new Caddy ATS (The podium girl is worth the price of admission! ), Ford Fusion, Fiat Abarth, Ferrari FF, Spyker C8 Convertible. Those were cool to see.

I got to drive several Chrysler products and have to say that the 300 SRT-8 is quite impressive! 470 hp in a family sedan. EVERYBODY needs one of those!

Did you check the other Boss 302 (the one by the wall)? It was unlocked Fri. night.

My observations:
1) I like the looks of the new 2013 Fusion.
2) I like the upholstery of the Mazda 2.
3) Fiat 500 seating position is not unlike that of a bar stool.
4) Chrysler 300 needs less fiddly gauges.
5) Ferrari FF might look good with a roof rack and kayak on top.
6) Driver's seat/interior of the Hyundai Elantra is pretty good. At least my head wasn't jammed into the headliner.
7) "Mini Cooper John Cooper Works Coupe" is one coupe too many.
8) Interior of the Chevy Volt was styled by Oster.
9) There are too many kinds of almost identical SUVs.
10) Nice car phone in the Fox body Mustang NCHP car.
