I have heard that spectators will be allowed for a fee (no idea on the amount). And that there will be no paddock access. This may also be a bit of a "dry run" for the race this fall as to comments back to VIR regarding curbs, etc.

I am picking up the group buy tickets this Friday from VIR, and will begin the distribution process after that. Thanks to everyone for their prompt payment, I only have one person left on my list who hasn't paid and it isn't a THSCC member.

Also, the ALMS test day is June 14th (Thursday). Anyone interested in taking off work and checking it out? I believe it's $10 to get in that day.

Still months away, but I am excited! Here is a very quick lap of VIR full course (I assume as part of the recent ALMS testing) by the Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD ARX-03a P1 prototype...

My stopwatch says 1:36.7! I like the flat out/no lift run from turn 5 up past 9 with a slight lift and downshift for 10! What is the full course lap record? I found mention of a 1:36.3 by an older F1 car?
