I agree James. Working backwards is best, especially if you're trading in a car, although I'm yet to do it when I can sell them to a private party without losing $$$ on ole Autotrader. It sucks that the superdeluxo ad is $75 now though! It used to be like $30 when I was in school and generated a better response.

I paid about $400 in BS that I've never paid for upon purhcase as the S2000 was my first car from a dealer. I have to say, tossing the 90 day tag in the trash yesterday felt good. Unless it's a screaming deal (albeit, you're always rolling the dice when you can't talk to the previous owner), I probably won't buy another car, unless it's new from the dealer again just because the 'fees' aggravate the hell out of me.

I wi$h Jeremy. Probably a $4-5k 100k+ Honda. No more financing cars unless for some reason I don't like the S2000 (very unlikely) and want to get the new Scion in a year or two.

Nice find.

2. If a dealer charges a processing fee it:
A. Must be posted in the public sales area.
B. Cannot be more than $250.

I think that is a quiz, with the answers at the bottom. The answer is A, it must be posted publicly. Not B. Look at "1" above it.

Please stop crushing my hopes and dreams by actually reading the context of the website. Didn't your mother ever tell you that it was overrated to be right?

Better yet Andrew. Dont worry about another car. Buy my motorcycle and fix your miata. There you go, when the miata isnt drivable you ride the bike.

I'm not positive if that's what's going on. The website is kind of confusing.

The stuff in bold are the answers. That page is an example quiz.

http://www.dmv.state.va.us/webdoc/pdf/dealer_test.pdf

Has the answers by themselves.

I don't have enough beer in the house to even start to answer that question. I need to figure out how to push this thing up my driveway and into the garage so I can put it on dollies and deal with it when I have a job out of college.

Excellent use of understated humor. I think you are no longer drinking in an effort to be more witty to maintain youe #1 Drunk Poster title.

Nice color choice x2! When these start coming off lease in 3-4 years I'm going to be looking at these closely.

So what was the deciding factor versus the Fiat?
