I just signed up my oldest daughter, Tiffany, for the school.

Rodney / All,

I'll gladly help out at the event with traffic, chasing cones, or provide instruction to students. No autocrosses, but if you need my track history, let me know.

I seem to do better instructing in the passenger seat than participating in the drivers :?

If you need people, I will be happy to pencil it in at this time.
I can volunteer or instruct. I think I have picked up enough in my time as a driver.

Also, I have a cousin who is just at driving age needing this. How can I get him to go as a student?

Been auto-crossing on and OFF for a while now, yet I find myself driving more OFF than ON.

to everyone that has responded so far, please send me your current email address please. I need to forward this info to Denis so we can start getting instructors and volunteers lined up. You may either PM or send to autox328@nc.rr.com.

Or you options are the following.

If you'd like to instruct, you can email Phil Antoine at booflick@yahoo.com. Phil is the instructor coordinator for the SS. Tell him what experience you have.

If you'd just like to help out volunteering and working at the event, contact Jeff Lucas at jwlucas@dcjsystems.com. Jeff will be in touch to ask where you would like to help.

Please let them know you are with THSCC and want to help.

this went out to BMWCCA members today, looks like they still need volunteers:

Triangle Members!
Looking for a great volunteering opportunity, while having some fun with your peer BMW CCA Owner-Members? Have I got a deal for you....!
Come join us on March 3rd for the Tire Rack Street Survival school being held at the Emergency Services Training Center (ESTC) , 3000 Airport Road in Sanford. We'll have approximately 60 students! We can really use your assistance in the following areas:
• waiver processing and arrival parking
• arrival registration processing and student packet distribution
• course exercise control
• working individual exercise areas
• assisting with lunch set-up
• other shuttling duties (water to exercise venues etc.)
Please send an email to Denis Kingberg (dkingberg@nc.rr.com) and cc Jeff Lucas (jwlucas@dcjsystems.com) if you're interested.
There will be a planning conference all, once we have our full volunteer roster established. Thanks in advance for your willingness to help support this most worthwhile keystone event for our Chapter.

Steve beat me to the punch here. Denis is looking for volunteers to help out w/ the SS. Volunteers are very low right now, so if you can help out, please use the emails addresses above and let them know you can help.

So the SS is just around the corner and it's time to ramp up efforts and lock in who's going to make it down. We also need some volunteers to help w/ Friday's setup. Can anyone make that as well? I'll post meet up times ASAP.

The Tire Rack Street Survival being run the BMWCCA tarheel chapter is this weekend and I hope to see you there helping out. If you haven't already, please let Denis or Phil know that you can either instruct or volunteer.

I need to know if any of you could help w/ setup on Friday. Setup time is from 9-noon. Mike Whitney is once again setting up the course and we could use some experienced autox/rallyx folks to help setup the courses. We could use 2-3 hands to help setup to make sure the course flows as expected.

I may also need some help w/ the bus. I can get the bus there on Friday and get a ride home, but I have to stay in Sanford Sat evening and I'll need help getting the bus back to Chris'.

PLEASE let me know if you can help with either/both setup and the bus.
