In my quest for non mainstream music that feeds my odd tastes, I've come across the following bands/songs that are for me, very cool. Thanks to friends at work and my son Drew. These are definitely swing w/ an electronic twist. Romona Falls is just different.

this is a song, that i like to listen to.. right before i workout at tae kwon do.. makes me ready to hit things, and push my self hard..

If you want different, you cant get any more different than georgian table music. A ally and Christian orthodox country,
Georgia is a interesting place. Poor and cold, Ushguli is a town in I think northern Georgia.. Highest town in europe, in the caucases. The roads in and out of Ushguli are snowed over in winter.. So none get in or out in winter at all, no heat in many of the old farm houses.. So cold as well.. Very cold. Down in Batumi, near the dead sea.. near Turkey, its quite pleasent.
Yes Turkey invaded Armenia and Georgia years ago, during the Ottoman Empire, influencing the music alot.. and the food.
But make no mistake, being a part of the Russian empire for centuries, and recently partially free from it.. They are very much Christian country.Not the most stable country there is, surrounded by Abkhazia and South Ossetia.. There are places you dont want to go. But the rest is great for a very poor country.This song is called Chakrulo.
