Great, now I see how to do it!
After hearing a pretty apparent "bearing noise" on Sony's Cavalier I decided it had to be the P/S pump. So I got another one, replaced it, and duh....that wasn't it. I figured I needed someone who was more mechanically intelliegent than I to take a look at it so I asked Randy Melton to stop by.
After listening to it guess what he asked for to help him in finding the problem? The exact same pry bar Kevin is holding to his ear in that photo.

He used it in the same manner to find out it was a bearing problem, on the
IDLER pulley, not the P/S one.
That's my luck I guess. Spending all Friday morning fixing something that ain't broke only to log on here today and see what I needed to fix it.
