Aaron and I are dynoing our cars today. Who's going to win?

Fun runs for who ever comes closest to the actual power number without over "bidding." (Aaron's in on this too)

The engine will be right at 200 miles of break-in when I do the pulls.

My guess:

138 hp
155 ft-lbs

Both of those numbers are lower than my original overly optimistic goals.

Aaron's car:

171 hp
125 ft-lbs


Aaron's votes:

2001 Celica: 173/126
1973 Celica: 143/160

Hmm, I thought it was self explanitory but here it is:

The person guessing closest to my car will get a few fun runs in *my* car. The person closest to Aaron's power gets runs in *his* car.

Torque numbers are just for show, there's only prizes awarded for horsepower.

With all my car hassles lately (not posted here), I'm suprised no one has picked my car to blow up on the dyno.

Um lets see here...........

Motors produce torque and dynos only measure torque. HP is a mathmatical equation derived from torque and RPM's. :poke:
