Honesty, I'm not too familiar with Mustangs, but visually that's probably my favorite style (of the recent chassis) with it's subtle throwback look and would be a fun daily driver.
FYI other than color always being green and some interior/exterior trim the 2001 Bullits only "functional" change compared to other GT's afaik are the readily available bigger "Cobra" brakes compared to the standard GT brakes. I
330hp vs 300hp (it comes with a tune and intake)
Slightly lowered springs
bigger front brakes
But those three things are cheap and easy to change on a GT, as well as the grill and spoilerless trunk. I wouldn't pay a premium for a bullit simply because it's so easy to duplicate it, and you could do it in whatever color you want.
I think Jason is referring to the newer Bullitts than the 2001's I was describing. The 01's had the same 265 HP as the normal GT (at least "rated HP") but a little more torque.
http://media.ford.com/press_kits_detail ... on_id=2870If you happen to like the 99 - 2004 versions of the GT the lower cost would allow more money for a small mod class car that you could tow with the GT.

There are Airlifts (air bag type) for the rear of the Mustangs through 04 which can get the rear height back up from the tongue weight of a trailer (did this with my 88 5.0)
I'm enjoying the luxury of my 2012 compared to anything else I've owned as a daily driver. I never really liked a Mustang as an autocross car since there is very little opportunity to use the power. (My first autocross was in a 69 Mustang by the way but I got hooked driving 240 and 260Z's which did rather well in their day).
