They got a 2011 manual RWD wagon in stock, too. Sadly, it's a little newer and higher priced than I really want, and not the color I really want. But it's not a color I hate, either. *sigh* Shoot.

The bullitt would be traded in....

We really need to just start a pool on how long Rodney keeps a car once he buys it. He ought to just get his cars from like Hertz or something. Get one with unlimited mileage.

I've had the bullitt for 6 months now, so about average for me  I have a feeling that I won't be buying this car. EAG is well above NADA for their cars and I'm not sure about a trade in. They would have to give me right at or above trade in on the bullitt to make this work and that's assuming they take trade ins. Looks like they deal pretty much exclusively w/ BMW's. While I like the 330 ZHP, I'm not willing to pay that much of a premium over the real price of the car since I'd have to get a loan. I have some equity in the bullitt, but I don't want to just give it away.

The more I think about this the harder it is for me to justify the trade since I don't need to put one dime in the bullitt as it's configured exactly the way I want and I'd have to start over on the 330 spending money on suspension stuff and wheels/tires. All the post buy spending is something I really need to consider and w/ the Germany trip only 4 weeks away, this would be tough to do. Well see what happens once they post the price on the car.

Just for Rodney:

http://jalopnik.com/5910036/the-ten-wor ... socialflow

I can't believe the Bullitt is already on the way out but a 330 sounds like a worth replacement.

A question for people that 'car swap': what you guys/gals all do about taking the hit on the vehicle tax you pay when you purchase it? That's usually not chump change. That sounds like a habit that's more expensive than the 'purple crack'.

Rodney the car ping pong ball. There are like two cars he can fit in, Mustangs and BMW's . He buys one, gets tired of it and buys the other, gets tired of it and buys another of the first one. He needs to buy a BMW outright so he can just switch every other day LOL

Rodney, this approach might actually save you money.

And the race is back on. Who will end up on top? Les, Rodney or James.

I'd put my money on Les.... I'm now and as always, "just look'n"

I've been very lucky in regard to buying cars over the last few years, in that I could sell the bullitt now and still have my 5k deposit money back in my pocket w/ no issues if I just sell it at trade in value. I do have the '90 325, but I have to admit it's not as fun to drive as the mustang since it's a slushbox tranny. As for buying a 330 outright and keeping the stang, funds won't support my habit right now.

Like I mentioned, I think EAG is going to want a serious premium for this ZHP, but until they post a price, I'm just kick'n tires.

Yeah, I've been wondering the same. That illustrious NC Highway Use Tax can get awfully expensive - IIRC, it's 3% of DMV's book value (which is typically on the high end of retail).

so, EAG has the price posted on the car, for a very affordable $18990  . Sorry, but that one is staying in Ohio.
