They're asking $19k if the mulletmoosewangbullet deal goes south. But then again, you're no longer dealing with Carmax so you're probably on cruise control with this transaction comparitively speaking.

Wheels -- I'm not sure I'd trust a cheap cast wheel for track, but the $139 Kazera KZ-Ks from Tire Rack have worked well for autocross. 18x8.5 and 5 mm more offset than the factory 18x8.5s, which lets me squeeze in the 295s with just a tiny bit of rubbing on the fender liners.

Good to know on the wheels. I'd rather spend a few more bucks on some decent lightweight wheels and tires. You running the A6 or v710? I'm thinking I'll go w/ v710 since this is a fairly heavy car.

I started this year with A6s left over from last year, then subbed in 2nd-hand R6s as the A6s corded. What I run next year depends on what class you plan to run

Good luck finding someone to mount 710s for you. Pretty sure you won't get Jeb to mount them, unless you go for something a lot narrower than the 285s the Westerfields ran last year.

Anyway, hope to see you arrive in a green machine at the Christmas party.

The v710s that Steve and I had worked well and lasted a full season with two drivers. However they were a bear to mount and I dont think Jeb would be interested in doing it again.

What are your thoughts on TIRe class? At least you get 2 years out of set of tires....
