Me too. I bought some rotors and wheels for my Mustang.

I kept the hitch! Won't be going down the STX path right now, so not much to buy other than wheels, tires and a rear sway and maybe some tekicos again. I can sell of the current springs and koni's and recoupe a little money. Again, all of this is hoping this deal goes though. I'll know more by tomorrow.

Rodney, Let me know if you need a place to stay in VA or if you want to have a drink and show me your new ride. I'm in Midlothian (southwest side of Richmond). Goodluck with the bullitt.

I'll give you a buzz if all goes according to plan. Your number still 4701?

This thread not hitting 30 pages is only the tip of the iceberg as to how disappointing and anti-climatic Rodney's car buying adventure has been.

Dude, seven more pages is imminent! He doesn't even have or even has seen the car yet. Plenty more drama to ensue. j/k :P

If Cash is doing more events next year (awesome!) and Art keeps doing the FS thing, it sounds like the Bullet will have a good home in FS.

Like I said, it's always fun spending someone else's money.

Matt the correct spelling is BULLITT. Get it right! Careful or you may offend us fellow Mustang owners. :P

How was buying a Bullitt predictable? Last I checked it was wasn't built or designed in Germany.

in your words here VK..............

how many car's have you gone though since you got rid of the mustang? why not just go back to that?

Ding! Ding! Ding!

I don't think Rodney had any problems with his S197 (check engine light doesn't work on these cars) so I can't for the life of me see why he keeps searching for another Hans designed/built product.

in Rodney's words here........

lol... I had the 330 vert after the mustang and that's it. I liked the mustang, a lot. I hated the mustang, a lot. If I could have the new interior on a 07-09 car, then I'd keep it. I'd had enough of the plastic interior on my 07. Also hated the nose dive when braking hard. If I could find a great deal on a 08 bullitt, I'd consider that as well, but everyone's a little too proud of those and the prices just aren't coming down.

everything else has been fluff.

We al know Rodney longs for SOME type of German car, but alas he either can't afford the one he wants or he doesn't fit. He has "Hansitis" I think.
