Bet you never thought I'd be the first one to say that, did you Steve? Well, your favorite French car make will be 100 on Nov 3!

Let's take a moment to celebrate the greatest moment in Chevrolet's motorsports history!

My parents had only one Chevy in their life. A Vega.

Stupid car grenaded itself in the parking lot of the St. Peters Public Library.

They never bought another Chevy. That speaks volumes! :D

OK, I had a '72 Vega myself and personally I think, for its time, was one the best design styles I had seen in a while. I drove the piss out of my car, blew it up, changed the block, and drove the piss out of it again until it developed over heating issues and I was tired of the car after owning it 5 years. I'm sure it's been recycled many times over by now and is a fender on a honda somewhere.

Kudos to this guy autox'g one. I always wanted the twin cam cosworth myself.

My Dad never bought new cars. But eventually he did and the first was a Vega. It took him roughly another 30+ years before he bought another new car.

Money can't buy happiness, but somehow it's more comfortable to cry in a Porsche than a Kia.

The shortest time I've owned a car was the 74 Vega that I bought new to replace my 69 Mustang (gas crisis panic  ) and then traded about six months later for my 260Z.

However, I've really liked Corvettes starting with the C4 . . . they just haven't fit my "needs" unfortunately.

Details, Details! The name Chevrolet is as French as Citroën or Peugeot or Renault or Bugatti or De Dion-Bouton or Delahaye or Talbot-Lago or Delage or Facel Vega or Lorraine-Dietrich or Panhard or Simca or Avions Voisin! Except that Ettore Bugatti was born in Milan. This proves my point conclusively!

Cheers to Chevy. My first car was a Chevy Sprint although it had a massive 3 cylinder, 1 liter Suzuki engine which cranked out 48 horses when new. It wasn't exactly what you'd consider a safe car for a first time driver.

Congrats on the Z06 Rob, can't wait to see it at an autocross soon!
