Just got the go ahead from the wife to order a ticket. I can't wait, I'm sure the fan fare will be high with this being the 50th running. I will be there to watch the Continental Tire race on Friday as well.

Anybody gone before?

Nope, meaning if I were selling one... I'd put it in the classified forum :sing:

It's been several years since I last went, but it's definitely a blast.

Grassroots Motorsports magazine has had a good deal going the last couple of years- a weekend admission ticket including access to their hospitality tent and some other goodies. If that doesn't work for you, they usually have a good weekend ticket deal through the ticket office at the track. Don't plan on getting much sleep if you stay at the track overnight. We got a cheap motel on the beach and just used it to catch some sleep for a few hours while we weren't at the track.

I've been many times. The advance purchase (only) $90 4-day pass is a good deal, but of course look into the GRM one too.

Book your hotel early. The last few years I've stayed at a Comfort Inn on the beach in Ormond Beach. Nothing fancy, but pretty close to a local sports bar/seafood restaurant whose name I can't recall.

If you have a friend in the PCA, drag him along and ride his coattails into the PCA tent in the infield. If it rains or is cold/windy (not uncommon), that's the place to be, with the food and the closed circuit Speed Channel feed.
