This morning I ended up with a backyard full of 200 year old tree.

My gutters are a little out of level now

And now I have a split level storage shed complete with waterfall

The tree that did this is in my neighbor's yard

The neighbor's house faired worse.

That indeed sucks George.

I complain about having no trees (no shade) in the summer until a storm like this hits. Days like today I'm glad the nearest tree is about 50 yards from my house.

I lucked out. Only power flickers, never lost it. I have about a dozen shingles to replace and a piece of siding, all relatively simply items as opposed to ^

Same here, power flickered a few times at my house in wilson. I spent about 4 hours in the yard today and washed the house and it's like it didn't happen at my house. Lots and lots of trees down in wilson. My parents were without power for 36 hours in Grimesland (outside greenville). Fired up the generator and it wasn't a big deal.
