I'm sure everyone is aware that we will no longer be meeting at Rudino's off of Miami. Seems the owner Brian has no interest in us returning to their establishment. That said, we're in need of a new meeting location. PLEASE keep an eye out for a place that will hold 40 or so and has a separate room. Please post back here w/ any recommendations so we can start calling to lock in a new location.

and yeah, I'd prefer a place that sells beer :D

Tyler's Taproom in Durham has a private room.

EDIT: Granted if there is a Bull's Game, parking would be annoying, but I usually park downtown and walk to American Tobacco during DPAC or Bull's game.

Good call. That place is very close to the house, so I'll call them and see if they are interested in hosting our monthly meeting. Only issue is we'll take over the entire room, but I know they can set it up as a private meeting, I've seen them do that before.

Back shortly.

+1 for Rush Hour. We need some meetings to occur on my side of Raleigh for a while. Screw driving to Durham.

Tyler's in Apex also has a private room, and doesn't have the complication with the Durham Bulls.

I don't know about the seating in their private room. I was at a birthday dinner with ~10-15 people and we pretty much took up all the seats there. I think there were 2 4 person tables and a couch left.

I just called Tyler's Apex and they said that the private dining room could seat 40 people and she didn't hesitate at all in saying yes.

Is a meeting place in the Glenwood South area too far off the beaten path?

Natty Greene's would be pretty nice because the place is HUGE, they brew their own beers, and have a decent menu.

This sounds like a good alternative and it's not to far from the house. I've been there and the food is great, love the fish tacos! What's everyone vote on this one? I'm thinking a place that is somewhat central to everyone is what we need to focus on. Rushhour is on the south side of Garner, or I guess Scotty M land, and is off of 70 south.

Let the voting start!
