What did you guys do at the last meeting? :)

Chuck, in all seriousness, we showed up. I know that sounds pretty unbelievable, but that's pretty much it.

We were only trying to be paying customers.

Is a meeting place in the Glenwood South area too far off the beaten path?

Natty Greene's would be pretty nice because the place is HUGE, they brew their own beers, and have a decent menu.

Parking is a beeeatcch on Glenwood south. While I like nattys, no a fan of the parking.

Rodney, are you talking about the weekend parking, or weekday? The parking deck is now open and free on weekday nights, so shouldn't be an issue. Weekends are pay-to-park, but that shouldn't affect us.

Are you talking about the parking deck that's near 42nd St oyster bar?

Sort of... the deck is RIGHT behind NG's, see this link - have to drive through their "parking lot" to get to it. Always plenty of parking, and at least for the last couple months the deck has been completely open and free on weeknights.

Great beer and food, and a central location - this would be my choice.

I do like Tylers, but a night there can get spendy, and it's maybe a little less central.

OK, I'll go talk to them this weekend or the first of next week and see how receptive they are to us meeting there. I agree, it's more central. I was concerned about Tyler/Apex and rushhour. Let you guys know what I find out.

I'm sure in the grand scheme of things to buy, "a brick oven for Steve" is probably somewhere in the same list as "generator" and "awning."

If I had to guess.

Karl said no more talk about the awning as a stipulation for giving the club this humongous tent :).

It only gets spendy if you order the $8.00 beers, and I'd say anyone who is doing that knows what they are getting into. I'm not sure I buy that Natty Greene's is that much cheaper, but I'm ok with either.

only pussies and chicks drink Bud Light.

really this is all ya'll care to discuss? i was trained in the art of throwing pizza by a Sicilian. RICO certified at that.

sadly, Donnie has it right. no pizza oven for the club that doesn't require any luxuries. why do i hang out with you fools anyway?
