All -

If you're a technology professional, a project manager, or some other thing, NetApp is hiring right now. As a matter of fact, there's one open req in the QA department I work in (which is an awesome group). I haven't been at NetApp long enough to be particularly influential regarding hiring decisions, but I can at least serve as a reference. That's all I had when I applied.

For those of you who don't know, NetApp is a storage company. Company headquarters is in Sunnyvale, CA, and our RTP campus is growing rapidly. There are about 1000 of us there right now. It was just listed at number five on Fortune Magazine's Best Places To Work list. And it really is a great place to work.

You can peruse the jobs database here, on a link that actually works this time.

One other thing. If you don't have storage experience...apply anyway. I had none when I applied. NetApp understands that, to a large extent, those people with heavy storage experience already work in the storage industry.

Anyway, look around, and if you see something you're interested in, PM me.

Hey Karl. That link appears busted. Can you check it? I want to send the link to my brother. I think he may be interested.

See? You don't even need to be capable of posting a URL to a forum to work there! Fixed. Old link was an internal one, and I was logged into the VPN when I posted it, so it looked like it worked.

Awesome, thanks Karl.

Based on that, it sounds like I might even be qualified!

I'm gonna bump this. We had another person move out of our general area and into management. Great for Korry, but not so great for us. So, here are the key skills we're looking for:

- Software test
- Test automation, written in code, NOT done with a play and record tool
- Perl
- Any storage experience would be a huge benefit, but we understand that there's not a lot of that out there

Those items are for my team and one of its sister teams in particular. There are plenty of other positions open elsewhere, but if you're a Perl wizard, we could sure use your help.
