So with my encyclopedic knowledge about how cars work, I decided that I would try to get my car out of the driveway with my all-seasons. My car is now on the side of my house where it does nothing but wheelhop in the mix of snow and clay.

I live in Raleigh if it matters at all.

Cannot help with the tow . . . but can you describe the situation/driveway/steep/etc. or post a picture?

There are some tricks that MIGHT help depending on what you have available.

One thing to try to do today before it freezes solid tonight is clear a path so that there are no ruts or holes etc. to try to get over and make sure no snow or mud is caked in the wheels, etc. Who knows it may have more traction first thing tomorrow morning when there is no liquid water to lubricate the snow/mud.

Dick (who with his wife's help spent 2 hours today shoveling a 200 foot driveway).

Neighbor helped me out with their 4WD Land Cruiser.

Worn Falken ZE912s are pretty bad in the snow for some odd reason.
