They really liked that AI mustang. A nice long shot of Eric's Panoz too.

I got this in my inbox today...

Quote:
BBC AMERICA'S TOP GEAR SEASON 15 SPECIAL EPISODE WILL FEATURE VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY ON FEBRUARY 7TH
For Immediate Release
Contact: Marketing Department, 434-822-7700 ext. 116

Danville, VA <February 5, 2011> VIRginia International Raceway today announced on Monday, February 7th, the hit show BBC America will feature VIRginia International Raceway during the Top Gear Season 15 Special Episode. The show will run at 10:20pm. http://www.bbcamerica.com/tvschedule.jsp

The show features Jeremy Clarkson and his co-hosts Richard Hammond (the fast young guy) and James May (the ditzy everyman) on a US Tour traveling from North Carolina to New York. The secret filming of the show took place at VIR on September 15, 2010. Clarkson piloted a Mercedes SLS AMG, while Hammond was at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR and May had the luxury of testing the Ferrari 458 Italia.

VIRginia International's 3.27-mile Full Course is considered by racing enthusiasts to be the U.S. track that is most like the legendarily demanding European circuits such as the Nurburgring and Spa Francorchamps, so it is ideal for testing high-performance supercars to their absolute maximum.

Virginia International Raceway first opened in 1957 and is a classically configured road race course with 130 feet of elevation change and "gut-check" high-speed corners absent from most modern tracks. Carroll Shelby memorably observed that "One lap at VIR is like a hundred at Watkins Glen."

About VIRginia International Raceway
VIRginia International Raceway is a multi-purpose road racing facility, located on the Dan River between Danville and South Boston, Virginia. VIR hosts a wide range of professional and amateur auto and motorcycle racing and track events, and is well established as "America's Motorsport Resort." For further information, call 434-822-7700 or visit our web site at www.VIRnow.com. To subscribe to our newsletter or to follow us on or visit http://www.virnow.com/connect.

as far as I can tell, this airs this Saturday morning at 10a and last for 90 minutes. This is the only airing I've seen, so set your DVR's!

I watched it this past Monday night. It was pretty cool with the predictable jabs at the Parkway.

I saw Donnie. And backed it up a few times just because. :)

Didn't they have two new episodes back to back Monday? Both were awesome nonetheless, especially the Atom.

Yes, I WANT an Atom. So does Rebecca!!! Maybe I should put a deposit down on the V8? Think Rebecca would mind?
