Yeah hat to admit it, it was much better in the third episode. The jump in the caddy did it. If what's his name is stupid enough to do that you gotta like him.

I can tell you from just our little 'yumps' at a few of our local rallycrosses that a landing like that is a lot harder (on your body) than you think. He had some pretty good air too.

On a related note, I saw that the next "Chasing Classic Cars" is going to include a visit to a Concours de LEMONS. That ought to be good.

A little better. They still need to lose Rutledge. I hope the one guy had his seat belt on during the jump since it wasn't on other times.

Did you see when he tried to put it on and the retractor obviously wasn't working... might have been safer without it on! LOL

They've all got their weak and strong points... the trick is getting a feel for each other and when to pick up the slack. I get the feeling Ferrara thinks Rutledge is pretty stupid (which could/should make for some entertaining TV.) The timing between them is off though still.

Rutledge to me is trying way to hard to play the "southerner" "redneck" role and to me he comes off as anything but. Thats just me.

YMMV

Yeah... he's way too effeminate to play that role LOL.

OK, you made me go look it up for your use of a $5 word for sissy, but yes, I agree.

Not to beat a dead horse; but, I wish a dead horse would fall on Rutledge Wood. Kid Rock hadn't been next to a boob that big since he broke up with Pamela Anderson.

I'm with you there.

I pretty much hate the show. It's just a "knock off" of the UK one but with useless hosts. They're uninteresting and just not real good at this. They need strong enough personalities that they can "own" what they're doing. Right now they're just told what to do and they sort of do it, but not real well. There's probably more driving talent there than they need, just not enough wit, timing, and persona.

Ok, of the three episodes I've officially fallen asleep during two. That's pretty indicative of the level of entertainment it provides other than the Evo segment on snow or the Caddy on the Jeep course in western Carolina (that was actually very awesome btw!).

I barely caught the Kid Rock part but man, that Rutledge fellow was waaaay too nervous and choked up. Hell, it's just Kid Rock, it's not Mick Jagger or someone of that caliber. Hats off to him [kid rock] for salvaging the 'interview' because it was a trainwreck for sure. He's not too bad behind the wheel and set the quickest time in the wet conditions too.

I'll get caught up and watch it tonight, but can we please ditch any ideas to bring on more old people like Mick Jagger? I'm mean damn he's knocking on the door of 70 years old for pete's sake. How about someone a little younger and hotter like Ashley Force?
