The guys (and gals) at TurboTime in Cary are proposing a meetup in december, grilling and chilling too, and have asked if THSCC would like to be there on hand for rallyX, autoX and road course Q/A and whatever else.

I havnt been to one of their meets before and from what ive read online they're pretty popular in the subaru world. and also Turbo tuning. They hold regular meets every so often so if you've been please share if you think this may be a good idea..?

even if we cant get the bus/trailer out there and any THSCC representatives.. at least you guys know that there may be a meet in december.
:P

so they are thinking Dec. 19th. (sunday)

I used a sheet of scrap alum. 3/16" i think. light enough to hold with one hand while bolting it up.. and strong enough to deter some of the little rocks and mess on course.

i use some cardboard to mock up a plate. then used the alum.

i used the two bolt holes on the bottom of the radiator support, which are spaced about 1.5' apart.. and then i used the two bolt holes under the cross member which are spaces probably 4-5" apart.

I'll be in California on business, otherwise I'd consider coming to this.

I might swing by with the rally Focus. It'll be in need of some exercise by then.

Ok well I'm pretty confident the Dec 19th date is solid.

As far as a time. I guess afternoon? I'll update that.

That place has become my second home since getting the WRX ... haha not really, been there 3 times for parts, fluids, and random advice.

I'm planning on going for a while on the 19th.

It's about to be my second home for a while, too. STi needs not only a turbo, but a whole engine. Or most of an engine. Or something.

I'll be there on the 19th. Hopefully with a running car, but I'm not expecting much.
