This would be a pretty unique beater for $2250 and it's a one owner 5-speed Taurus SHO 5MT (I think they all were though). I stumbled on it by searching 'koni'.

If you like doing your own work on a car that is really difficult to work on, this is for you. Maybe Ford reintroduced the valve-adjustment shim kits that they discontinued in 2003.

On the plus side - it's an honest 5-seater with a big trunk. There's a nice kick when the secondary butterflies open at 4000 RPM and it pulls strong right to the 7000 RPM redline. It's fun to just open the hood and say - wow! look at those intake runner thingies! And I think I can scare up a diagram of where to drill the transaxle drain hole that they forgot to put in at the factory so you can refill it with Redline D4.
