Unless you have a really fast codriver to compare with, at this point you have enough experience and skill to be able to "tell yourself" where you were probably either giving up time (not at the limit) or overdriving. For the next run focus on faster corners that will allow more corner speed and slower corners where you can change line to get on the power quicker by getting the "turning part" of the corner done sooner/quicker so that you can unwind the steering and mat the throttle. I find that it takes "concentration" to remember to make the tighter corners more like a "diamond" than a smooth arc. You might be amazed at how violent you can be with the steering wheel at relatively low speed if you can immediately unwind to either stop understeer or catch oversteer.
If either you or Bernie knows what oval track drivers mean by "diamonding" a corner (early apex in, HARD tight mid corner steering, late apex out) that is what I mean. I learned it by watching REALLY fast Corvette drivers in a realitively small lot. It applies to slower cars also!
