We have Time Warner Cable for TV and Internet.

For any of you who read the long strange cable stb problem post yesterday before this edit, the problem turned out to be several loose connections that the tech the week before didn't tighten. These were for the power feed tap that sends power to an amplifier through the coax. The tech had made up and loosely connected several short coax jumpers and simply forgot to tighten them. Surprising actually, as I told his team leader who ID'd the problem, since the tech was very thorough on everything else. The latest tech's explanation of the symptoms, stored data, etc. made good technical sense to me as a very rusty electrical engineer.

All "appears" to be good so far but this is Time Warner so I'm not confident, just hopeful.
