with extreme trepidation, i stare at the mail addressed to me that i have just removed from the deep recesses of my mailbox.

Addison Barry Rand, or A. Barry Rand to his friends, has personally welcomed me to the journey that lies ahead of me.

my youth is gone, darkness surrounds me. AARP has found me.

i think i need a cold beer. :(

AARP "entry level" age is somewhere in the early to mid 50's. No big deal.

The real kicker will be when I (or you) receive the notice from Medicare that I (or you) need to make a Medicare enrollment decision. (it will come a few months before your 65th birthday . . . mine has not arrived . . . yet)

Sorry, I forgot how "Pinko" you really are. That's weird for a small business man.

No doubt, but a heavy duty shredder will make short work of the membership cards you will be getting weekly from now on.
