I've been watching Craigslist for newly listed M3s, and came across this one:

http://raleigh.craigslist.org/cto/1759521527.html

"A few features that make this M3 rare: no sunroof, which is a special order option – weight reduction – it would make a great track car; also the cloth inserts in the seats – don’t burn you in the summer nor do they get as cold as leather in the winter – also, the seats are 12 way adjustable, inlcluding the “kidney squeezers” that allow you to adjust the seat to your specific waste for additional support."

I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have "kidney squeezers" squeezing the waste out of me.

On the other hand, I just made an offer on this M3, and can't wait to pick it up:

Not only is it well maintained and chock for of quality upgrade parts, the interior is like new, and the exterior has two barely visible light scratches on it.

Since the cooling system is coming up for its requisite change interval, before you start seriously tracking it, I'd do the radiator, water pump (get the upgrade with metal impeller), fan clutch, and hoses.

Looks like he has the money shift mounts covered, so that's good! I love the e36 M3 sedans.

Thanks for the advice. The owner claims to have done those in Feb. of 2009, not sure of the mileage.

Ahh, very good. Didn't see that in his list so that's why I mentioned it.

And are you going to drive this at the OCS event? It's really smooth dirt there.

Waist - the part around your middle.
Waste - cr*p, p1ss, etc.

No, the M3 will only be driven on the track! However, the DIRTBOMB will have 4 drivers at OCS.

I took possession of the aforementioned BMW M3 today and after driving around for about an hour am already getting this strange tingling sensation:
