A bunch of drinking and then loading up $500 race cars on to trailers and then towing them 20 miles on a two lane road.

Umm, yeah. Nobody is going to get drunk, make an @ss out of themselves and get arrested at that event. Not going to happen. Nope. No way.

You guys keep your eyes on Steve, especially since he isn't driving.

My team won't have to worry since I don't drink. I can drive Mitch's tow vehicle safely to and from the track. I've never seen Walter drink either so at least those two teams are covered. I'm not sure if Mark has a sober one in his whole bunch (except his wife) so maybe they better not attend. :P

Steve, well we all know where he will end up!

So am I the only one that doesn't trailer my LeMons car? I and one of the crew daily drove it for a while until the hood pins let go and bounced the hood off of the windshield. It's kind of the last choice if all of our other cars are broken, but that actually happens pretty frequently :(

Yes, you are nuts. There is no way I'd drive our car 3+ hours to CMP and not know if it would make it back home because of what could happen to it during the race. Not to mention I'd be deaf before I got there because our car is, well, kind of loud.

I'd worry more about "Bubba" seeing the inside of my orange jumpsuit if I were you!

Maybe he would just leave it there if it broke down?

I'd worry more about getting Dieter there with no lights (head or tail), no side or back glass (rain or cold), or just getting pulled over for the way it looks. We need all the miles we can get at the track too. I'm worried about this being the 5th Lemons race for Dieter including one where we (Steve) overheated the engine and we blew a head gasket. We'll be lucky to finish.

Yeah, one of our thoughtless, horrible, irresponsible drivers overheated the car at our first race. It was really inconsiderate of him to deprive the rest of us of driving it for an hour while we replaced it.

I figure if it blows we'll just rebuild it there; we've already replaced the head gasket, transmission, main bearings, and rod bearings in the dirt lot at CMP. If it gets balled up we'll pull the drivetrain, safety equipment and suspension/brakes, put it in the camper, and go find another junkyard Civic/Integra shell. Hell, we could probably ball it up on day 1 and be back for day 2.

VK, we bring many so there is always somebody to safely haul us home.... Guess with this new deal we'll save our drinking for back at the hotel. We really only start drinking when our junk breaks so hopefully things will be mild.
