My first exposure to road racing was in 1970 when my dad took me to Lime Rock for a Trans Am race -- this video reminded me of those days, steel soda cans and all!

Wow. The soundtrack sounds like a mix of the most insipid parts of the Bullitt, Grand Prix, Le Mans and Winning soundtracks....

Did you get a load of those slip angles?

I saw Dick Guldstrand racing a Camaro at the Monterey Historics in 2006? (They had a huge field of old Trans-Am cars that year)

I had the same motorcycle (Honda)back in the late 70's as the one at 4:09 in the video! I paid $200 for it and now they sell for over $1K!
