Panoz, a well-known sports car manufacturer, announced that it will present its all-new sports car at this year’s Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race in June. Dubbed Abruzzi, the new car from Panoz will be built on an aluminium chassis borrowed from Esperante while the engine will be borrowed from Ford and it appears to be a 4.6-liter V8 engine capable to deliver around 300 hp. The first sketched emerged on the internet forums but it has not been released as an official image. Panoz founder, Mr. Don Panoz confirmed at the Sebring 12 Hours race last weekend that the upcoming car will have “some innovative features, particularly in the cooling department”. Regarding the racing version of the upcoming car, this could make its debut next year, at the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
