An honourable mention goes to the guy who drove off without paying for gas, and upon realizing it and returning to the gas station to pay was arrested. Your Tax Dollars at Work!

Wow...When I went there was a guy who didn't want to drive home from a bar because he thought he had too much to drink. It was November, so he got in the car, cranked it up to get the heat going, and laid the seat back to take a nap. About 5 minutes later a cop knocked on his window and gave him a DWI. Evidently, you can't put the key in the ignition at all or you can get a DWI.

To make matters worse, the guy couldn't afford to get his car out of storage and the fees were more than the car was worth, but the judge said he couldn't get driving priveledges to and from work unless he paid the storage fees. That guy was hating life at this point I'm sure.

If I remember correctly from my CDL classes in another state you cannot get behind the steering wheel period key on or not. We were instructed to climb in the truck from the passenger side to get to the sleeper berth if you had been drinking. :beerbuds:

Comercial drivers are subject to slightly different rules.

For some reason I read this as "Comercial DRINKERS are subject to slightly different rules." Kinda makes it funnier in my opinion. :beerbuds:
