Calling all those IT types!

I'm working at my Cary office today and need to find some pre-made cat5 cable, about 40-50ft. I'd prefer not paying Best Buy prices, and was hoping there was a better-priced source here in cary someone might know about?

Thanks,
Steve

50ft pre-made CATe is $14.99 at Intrex, http://www.intrex.com.

I was going to say if you buy 2-3 female to female connectors, I could get you the cable for free, but for the price that Chuck quoted, it might not be worth it.

If you can wait for shipping Monoprice.com can't be beat. I use their cable in my production networks and they haven't let me down yet.

thanks guys! Monoprice has great--really great-- prices. Those HDMI cable prices are really good, too! I need to bundle an order with them to overcome the shipping prices, though. Plus, having just built a new PC on Saturday I need some cable tonight so I can get back to my iRacing!

Intrex is pretty close, so I'll try there.

Thanks again for the tips.

Intrex sounds like a good deal. Tiger Direct/CompUSA might be competitive as well.

I'll second Monoprice.com. I have ordered HDMI cables (5 - 6ft cables shipped for $26) and 2 component cables for the Wii ($6.45 each shipped) and all the cables have performed flawlessly.

Friends don't let friends buy cables at retail stores.
