So - in order to get what little reflexes I have in 'race mode' I'm thinking of a trip to Rush Hour Karts next week or the week after. Anyone up for going?

Monday evenings are good since the heats are 12 minutes instead of 8. Makes for a nice bonus.

I'm out of town on the week end, but maybe Monday is calling my name.

I've never been, answer me a few questions..when you all go do you do the Group thing or just individual. How much would I be spending. Do you bring your own helmet etc?

Cline,

We can go as group. If we do then we can get 3 sessions, a practice, qualifying, and then the race. It will run about $20 bucks.

They have everything you need, but I would recommend bringing your own helmet unless you like the smell of sweaty heads.

if we can get all of that for 20 bucks, I am in... other wise, I am in the saving my money boat and dont want to fork out the huge amounts of money for the sessions individually

I'm in. Let me know when. As for pricing, I looked at the web site. Mondays are 12min heats for $20. Wed has the sprint race, 5min, 6min and 10min for $25 for members, $35 non members.

Still a blast to come and drive. I'm still looking to break the 31sec mark. Guess I'm too fat.... Memberships are only 15 to join. Almost get all your membership money back if you do 1 sprint race.

Give me a day, time, and price and I'm 99% sure I'm in. I know I can at least get 2 more, and maybe a 3rd.

I'll likely be in unless there is a scheduling conflict. I'm sure Laura will be there too if she's in town.

Just FYI, there is a 12 person limit to a group.

I would like to go, depending on the date of course. Sounds like a great time! Mondays aren't great for me, but not impossible. Tues or Thrusday would be better.

If it's a group thing could a THSCC "league" become a reality? With points and all? Just curious...

The only way a league would be possible is if the flyweights have to add ballast to their karts.
